✨ Hi, I’m Sarah Jay — the face behind SlayBySayJay. I’m a passionate hairstylist based on the north side of Indianapolis, located inside Sola Salons at Keystone Fashion Mall. I’ve been licensed since 2019 and started my journey assisting in a salon before opening my own private suite in 2023. I created SlayBySayJay to build a cozy, welcoming space where every guest can feel comfortable, cared for, and confident. I specialize in curly hair, healthy hair care, and personalized services designed to fit your lifestyle, hair goals, and texture — while always welcoming ALL textures. As a curly girl myself, I’m especially passionate about helping clients understand, embrace, and care for their natural hair while protecting its health and integrity. I’m certified in curly haircuts, Keratin Complex, Mizani, and more, and I’m committed to continuing my education so I can always provide the best experience possible. I’m bubbly, family-oriented, and an animal lover, and one of my favorite parts of this industry is building genuine connections with the people in my chair. Whether you’re looking for a fresh change, maintaining your crown, bringing your little one in for their first haircut, or simply wanting a space to relax and be pampered — I’m your girl. 💖 At SlayBySayJay, healthy hair always comes first. 🌸 Booking Policies 🌸 Thank you so much for choosing SlayBySayJay! My goal is to create a cozy, personalized experience where you can relax, feel cared for, and leave loving your hair. To help keep things running smoothly for everyone, please review the following before booking. ✨ Cancellation + Rescheduling Life happens — I completely understand! I kindly ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice may result in a 50% cancellation fee. No-call/no-shows may be charged 100% of the scheduled service and may require a deposit for future bookings. ✨ Late Arrivals Please arrive on time so we can make the most of your appointment. If you’re running behind, please send me a quick message. Guests arriving 15+ minutes late may need to reschedule to avoid affecting the next guest. ✨ Consultations Consultations are required before booking: • Custom Vivid Color • Color Corrections This helps me better understand your hair history, goals, and make sure we book the right service for you. ✨ Healthy Hair First The health and integrity of your hair will always be my top priority. In some cases, I may recommend treatments or service adjustments to help achieve the best and safest results for your hair. ✨ Little Guests I love welcoming little ones in my chair! If your child is booking their first haircut or may need extra time, please let me know ahead of time so I can help make their experience as smooth, comfortable, and special as possible. ✨ Location SlayBySayJay is located inside Sola Salons at Keystone Fashion Mall.
